Conclusion

The 2016/17 La Liga season was one of the most exciting in recent memory, with Real Madrid and FC Barcelona battling for the title until the very end. Ultimately, Real Madrid prevailed, but Barcelona still had a strong season, winning the Copa del Rey and reaching the Champions League semi-finals. Atletico Madrid and Sevilla also had strong seasons, finishing third and fourth respectively. The season was also notable for the emergence of some talented young players, such as Marco Asensio and Ousmane Dembele.
